Senior/Staff/Principal Analog Design Engineer US (Texas)

We’re launching a new office and want to bring in a number of different engineers ranging from Staff to Principal and Senior Principal. We have broad requirements listed below, and the experience levels for each role would be:

  • Staff – 8+ years’ experience and a Bachelor’s degree (or 6+ and a Masters)
  • Principal – 12+ years’ experience and a Master’s (or 8+ years’ experience and a PhD)
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
  • Expert level experience designing power related circuits such as switch mode power supplies, battery chargers, LDOs, class-D amplifier and motor drivers.
  • Good Understanding of Semiconductor Device Physics
  • Ability create and execute chip and sub-system level AMS based verification test plans.
  • Perform actual design, optimization and simulations of IC blocks and top level circuits using Cadence tools and target First Time Right designs (approximately 50% of your time) (Principal)
  • Implement ESD, Latch-up and Electromigration requirements into the design and layout
  • Develop new and differentiating architectures, perform feasibility studies and compare competitor solutions approximately (50% of your time) (Principal)
